Francisco Antuña Calle – Urologist
Dr Francisco Manuel Antuña Calle is a highly experienced Urologist with more than 30 years of clinical and surgical practice. He is widely recognised for his technical expertise, meticulous surgical approach, and calm, reassuring manner with patients.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Málaga and completed his specialist training in Urology and Surgery in the United Kingdom at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital and Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. He further expanded his expertise through additional training in Paris and Liverpool, building a strong international foundation in modern urological techniques.

Dr Antuña Calle is a specialist in general and advanced urological surgery, with particular expertise in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostate disease, kidney stones, endoscopic surgery, laser lithotripsy, and Holmium laser procedures. He is highly experienced in minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques, offering patients effective treatment options with reduced recovery time and improved postoperative outcomes.
He currently works full-time in the private medical sector and serves as Head of the Urology Service at Hospital Quirón Málaga. He is also Director of the Urological Laser Unit at HC Marbella – Hospital Internacional and collaborates with Triay Medical Centre in Marbella and Quore Clinic in Sotogrande. Until 2017, he combined private practice with public hospital work at Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Victoria.
