Dr Charles Triay
Qualified at Westminster Hospital, London in 1982 and worked within the St. Mary’s Hospital group in London including Senior House Officer posts in Accident & Emergency and Paediatrics. In 1985 he moved to Spain to start work in general practice, and help his father Dr. S.H. Triay to build up the practice to its current level of service of five general practitioners, nine specialists and numerous other healthcare professionals. He initiated the Well Baby Clinic within the practice, which still thrives today and has helped develop a travel vaccination programme. In 1988 he started voluntary work as a doctor assisting drug addicts to detoxify. This progressed to helping alcoholics and in particular the 12 step programme of Alcoholics Anonymous. From 1991 to 2001 he was the director for the local government’s drug dependency programme, which included outpatient and inpatient programmes as well as a methadone programme.
Dr Lourdes Peralta
Qualified in 1998 at Malaga University. She worked at the Hospital Costa del Sol Marbella as General Practitioner and at the emergency department, between 1999 and 2002, where she experienced 6 months of Paediatric Surgery. She advanced as a General Practitioner in 2002 and was doctorate in Obesity in 2001. She worked in Aesthetic Surgery area in Hector Valdés Clinic at Santiago de Chile. Since 2000 she worked at the Medical Centre as General Practitioner and also doing Aesthetic Medicine.
